hari ini seharusnya gue masih cuti.. secara gue kudu ngabisin jatah cuti, gitu loh.. tapi akhirnya berbaik hati buat memutuskan masuk, buat bantuin persiapan training besok, tapi jelas pake perjanjian biar bisa claim jatah cuti gue kapan-kapan, dong. yang ada malah pulang malem banget, 12 jem lebih dikantor, ck!

on leave again today! went for high tea buffet at Phoenix Garden Cafe, to make full use of the day as well as the 1-for-1 voucher. it's really worth it for the half price that we paid =) the spread was mainly composed of local fare from dimsum, laksa, rojak, porridge, glutinous rice, fried kway teow, herbal soup, and finger food such as chicken nuggets, prawn balls, chicken sausages, fried chicken, to waffles, fruits and various dessert choices like apple strudel, mint pudding, fruit cake, layered cake, creme bruele..

no pictures this time round to avoid the drooling effect ;)

finally managed to finish my e-filing after a long procrastination.. the whole process has been made so easy and convenient, yet I still find it as a chore.

went to NTU motor fest yesterday, for curiousity sake. I'm not that into cars and thus the difficulties to appreciate.. =) but still I applaud the organizers for the well-organized events, showcasing ferraris, lamborghini, porsche, mini, etc..

the grass always looks greener on the other side. I have to start counting my blessings. now.

staying at home today, blogging in the middle of the day :) supposed to be working on my assignment but ended up blog-walking, email checking, chatting, etc.. this is the first time in my working life that I take leave without any specific purpose, just for the sake of clearing it, thanks to the leave policy *note the sarcasm there*

apparently the church choir in which I'm involved gets the honour to be on duty for Easter vigil mass this year. of course it doesn't come without a price. weekly long practices are already scheduled. planning to skip some of them, though.. ;)

installed live messenger beta yesterday. it doesn't seem to have that much difference with the normal messenger. a change of name, ability to customize skin colour, space for file transfer, that's about it. and I encountered errors quite a number of times, when opening a chat window, when closing the live messenger, etc. forget it, I'm switching back to the normal version.

I hate farewell. lunch time will be not as fun anymore.

went for karaoke session last friday at ktv party world, which was suspiciously super cheap. had the chance to sing a few of "jadul" songs like untukmu by tito sumarsono whose low voice was killing us. we're not that expert to change the key, hehe.. antara anyer dan jakarta, etc.

udah beberapa kali gue ngerjain gift project yg berhubungan sama foto-foto. frame dipasangin foto, buku ditulisin dan ditempelin foto, etc. dari semua foto-foto itu, ada satu persamaannya.. apakah itu? semua foto itu ada guenya! ha! heheheh.. narsis.. =) argumennya cuma satu, gue cuma koleksi foto-foto yg ada guenya.. abis kalo engga, buat apaan dikoleksi.. hihihi.. dan berhubung bahan gift projectnya dari koleksi gue ya apa bole buat deehh..

eh tapi belakangan koleksi gue banyakan foto makanannya ding.. yang gak pake gue.. tapi biasanya foto makanan ga dimasukin jadi bahan buat gift project.. soalnya biar gimana kan lebih worth mengenang orang daripada mengenang makanan.

dah ah, ga penting banget nih postingan. mau ngerjain another gift project dulu.. due in a few days.. ;)

went around orchard area looking for farewell gifts. not an easy task. watched underworld: evolution, what a sadistic movie.

tried cream bistro at pacific plaza. first impression: the owner couldn't make up his/her mind, as they offer lots of variety, from japanese, thai, italian and plus local flavour like teh tarik. I decided to try their spaghetti goreng for curiousity sake. it's something between mee goreng with too much sauce and real spaghetti with too little sauce. weird. not fantastic but at least it's still edible. other dishes ordered were beef udon (this one was pan-fried, I guess) and chicken teriyaki (the sauce tasted like satay sauce).

ok, status of the day.. office project has been rolled out.. 1 assignment is finally over after a grueling 10-min presentation this evening.. one more project is to be handed tomorrow. 4 more assignments to go.. yeahh.. gambatteee!!
