decided to see the company's doctor this morning. he gave me no mc and one medicine each for the flu and cough, which have to be consumed 3 times daily and will cause drowsiness. I've no idea what was there inside the doctor's mind but apparently I'm expected to continue working with no rest days while consuming the medicine at the same time. Isn't it the same as torturing me, making me sitting in my cubicle trying to do my work while fighting the drowsiness? I won't eat the medicine.

Normally I won't pamper myself by seeing a doctor 'only' for flu or cough as I expect my body to heal itself by consuming more water, vit C and having enough sleep. I know it's kind of selfish.. And since no mc was given so I guess it's considered fine to spread the virus around. So be it.
