had a satisfying lunch at bali thai at westmall. it was supposed to be a gathering but most people could not make it so.. too bad. we had tom yum soup, thai fish cakes, sate madura for appetizer. pineapple rice, chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, long bean with salted egg yolk, otah in young coconut for main course.

the dish I like most was the sate madura.. big chunks of chicken meat in skewers, served with peanut sauce, cucumber and rice cake. the most unique dish was the otah in young coconut (picture below). inside the young coconut shell, there're seafood items like prawns and mussels, plus coconut meat, with orange-colored sauce.. fattening and nice!
