watched enchanted today, as that's the only appealing movie 'old' enough for which free passes are accepted. didn't regret it at all, as the movie was really entertaining. another important thing is the "live happily ever after" ending.. and the songs were great, too..

".. I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss.. and a prince, I'm hoping, comes with this.. that's what brings ever-aftering so happy.. that's the reason we need lips so much.. for lips are the only things that touch.. so to spend a life of endless bliss.. just find who you love through true love's kiss.."

met an old friend today at clarke quay. he's on transit here for a few days before a longer vacation in jakarta. I tried to arrange for a bigger gathering but it didn't work out.. most people couldn't make it, even those who said earlier that they could.. *sigh*.. but it's great to be able to meet him again.

we had dinner at pasta de waraku, central. the service was superb. their waiters were knowledgeable, always ready with smiles on their faces. and ice waters were refilled everytime, even when the bill had been paid and we're ready to leave! I was quite amazed as most restaurants do the water-refill only when we haven't finished with our food.

pizzas are on a super thin crust. ordered the prawn-scallop pizza and chicken teriyaki pizza. the prawn-scallop pizza was great.. crispy with full cheese flavour.. *salivating*.. hamburg steak with cream sauce was quite nice, served on hot plate with boiled potato, carrot and sweet corn.

after dinner we went to riverside area for a walk. initially wanted to try the chocolate dessert at aurum restaurant but it was closed. so we decided to try clinic instead, as our friend was impressed at the bar's idea of adopting hospital theme. ordered sex on a drip drink, green-colored liquid presented on the blood bag, and wonderland mojito - a mix of rum, lychee liqueur, peach liqueur, cranberry juice, club soda, mint leaves, strawberries, lychee and orange.

almost all passers-by were staring at this bar, esp. the blood bag drink, due to its outstanding theme and decorations. one uncle even stopped by and asked us how much the drink costs and what it contains.. :)
