went for food tasting at golden peony, conrad hotel this evening, basically 'helping' our friends in passing judgements to the dishes for their wedding reception. menu comprised of appetizer platter (octopus-big ones, fish cakes, prawn salad, slices of suckling pig and roasted duck), lobster soup, sauteed scallop and asparagus, steamed sea bass, mixed veggie with various mushrooms, crispy roasted chicken with shrimp paste and prawn crackers, fried noodles and mango pomelo dessert. all was good, except for the veggie and mushroom dish which failed in presentation points.
