[Egypt Day 6] Quad bike trip - Glass-bottom ship trip

Took bus in the morning to the quad bike site. We were not given any helmets, that's quite dangerous I guess, and we only wore our scarfs to shield our noses and mouths from the unmerciful dust. It was super, super dusty. But the rest was pure fun! It's simple to operate the quad bike, just push a button to start driving and press brake handle to stop it. The not-so-easy part was when you need to turn, as it was a sandy area and the bike was quite heavy. The quad bike adventure took about 1.5 hours, including stopping at echoing mountains and stopping at Bedouin tent for tea. Bedouin tea tasted unique with hint of ginger and honey. Disappointed when the ride had to end. Fun, fun fun!

Today was actually a free day at Sharm El Sheikh's resort, but most people opted to go for the quad bike and glass-bottom ship tour. Otherwise we could relax in the hotel and enjoy the red sea. As lunch was not included in today's itinerary and we're sick of all the mediterranean buffets, we were excited to order KFC for lunch =) Egypt's KFC chicken tasted exactly the same as Singapore's, except that they gave bbq sauce instead of chili sauce.

The glass-bottom boat trip was quite alright. For 45 minutes we enjoyed the underwater wonder, full of pretty fish and corals. The waves were quite strong and some people got sea sick. The sea was crystal clear, in fact we could already see the corals and fish from the floating pier, without going further.
