had our last meal in 2009 at friends' house. it was quite a spread: home-cooked grilled chicken, crabs especially imported from malaysia, and some seafood zhi char dishes. we're too hungry and food looked too yummy I forgot to take photos.

after dinner and clean up, we joined the host to complete this big puzzle with image of beer bottles from all over the world. usually I've no patience for completing puzzle, but yesterday there were a few of us and the puzzle was already about 50% complete. initially we had the target to finish it before the clock strikes 12, but too bad.. it's not that easy - we finished about an hour later. and the weird thing was there's a single puzzle piece left when we're done.

so, best wishes for the coming year.. or as my brother said, guten neu jahre und guten rutsch!

our monopoly game session was cut short as it was already too late. we had only 4 hours of sleep before the alarm woke us up. attended holy matrimony and lunch reception for friend's wedding at bukit batok. he did not forget to mention in his speech - happy new year and hopefully everyone will remember our anniversary forever :)

watched avatar in 3D in the evening. so tired now!
