We still had half a day free today so we left hotel early and took all our luggage to Zurich HB. Put our stuff in the biggest locker and somehow managed to insert coins to a defective slot - therefore I had to look for the office and ask somebody to take a look. Thankfully it was solved quite quickly so we could get on with our plan.
Bought a few slices of cheese from a nearby supermarket, and tempted to buy a small box of luxemburgerli (macarons) from Sprüngli.
Headed to Coop restaurant at Stadelhofen for hot drink and some breakfast, and strolled along the promenade. Stopped by Flohmarkt Burkliplatz, but found nothing interesting there. Then we took a 1.5 hour boat tour from the pier.
Cruising down Lake Zurich, enjoying city view in autumn while sipping hot chocolate and munching macarons... Life is beautiful! *smiling contentedly*
After the boat tour we traveled back to Zurich HB, collected our luggage and rushed to find platform 52 which was located at the further end of the station. The place's so huge it needs a map for easy navigation.
And we left Zurich at 3.35pm, after spending our last Franc for a box of chocolate.
