we planned to go for a picnic at botanic garden this evening with a group of friends. it was a sunny and humid day, right until the time we're supposed to leave the house. the weather report came from jurong east first, followed by one from toa payoh, and finally from the garden itself. but since we've prepared some tahu isi and nutella cheesecake, we decided to just go as planned.

so we spread the mats at the garden's visitor centre, right in front of the gift shop. the rain finally subsided after some time and we proceeded to the symphony lake. managed to sit down, still with umbrellas on hand. some audience even sat at the edge of the stage for some cover. we left before the concert ended as the rain was getting heavier.
