Gardens by the Bay was pretty crowded this morning, as it was officially opened only a few days back. Can't imagine how packed it'd be on weekend afternoon and evening.

On today's visit we tackled only the surrounding gardens and the super trees, saving the two domes for later. There has not been much changes on the heritage gardens and the lake areas since their preview session last year. Overall it's a beautiful garden carefully planned and built. Our only gripe was that there is not much shades as the trees are still too small. So during our visit we went into the gift shop twice, and also took a break at nearby cafe for some cool air.

Tried cafe crema's ham and cheese sandwich, as well as their ice almond latte and ice earl grey tea. The sandwich was great - buttered sliced of brioche with sliced ham and melted cheese in between, served with small serving of salad. But the drinks were the winner - smooth almond latte served cold, refreshing earl grey tea with not-too-empowering tea taste. It's our first time trying earl grey tea with ice, and we had it without any syrup.. perfect.

There was a children carnival going on at the Silver Garden, located next to the visitor's centre. Fun, colorful, free activities and shows. We watched the puppet show and it was quite entertaining.
