The set came with mushroom soup and ice lemon tea. The soup portion was generous, I didn't even attempt to finish it as I wanted to reserve space for the main course. Soup and drink were served very promptly - plus point. But the main course took a long while, and it did not help that we could see the kitchen very clearly from where we're seated. And the fish and chips sets did not look that appetising, frankly speaking - the fries were overcooked, the fish fillets were pathetic-looking and looked like they were fried for too long. Another minus point: a waiter who anyhow dumped a bill on our table. I was quite taken aback as I haven't even swallowed my last bite when a bill was dropped beside me. I took my own sweet time before opening it and it turned out it wasn't even ours.. -_-"

This evening we tried a new restaurant in Hougang Mall called Lenas. Ordered wagyu beef steak with potato wedges and chicken with cheddar cheese plus salad as a side. The steak and salad was great, potato wedges portion was generous. The grilled chicken was served on a hot plate with flames underneath, which looked like a novelty at first glance. But it was not easy trying to cut the chicken while trying to keep the hot plate on its place. I ended up removing the hot plate from the 'stove' :p The taste was so-so, a little bit too dry for my liking. Adding some sauce might help.
Service was fast and attentive. Nice ambiance. One minus point though: water was chargeable at 30 cents.
