Wild Honey

I took leave to run errands this morning so it's the perfect time to also have a brunch with a friend. Brunch, weekday morning, orchard.. what's not to like? :p

I did my due diligence to search for a good cafe and we decided to give Wild Honey at Scotts Square a try.

Upon arrival, we were promptly ushered to our table. The place is stylishly furnished and has nice ambience. Even the serviettes have specially printed design with the restaurant name on it. We were given the menu and shortly after, asked if we wanted to order any tea or coffee.

For tea, we had egyptian hibiscus and rose tea. From their all-day breakfast menu, we chose English and Brittany.

Brittany consisted of 2 slices of panettone French toast, served with fresh baby bananas, salted caramel mascarpone, toffee'd hazelnuts and salted caramel sauce. English had scrambled eggs, back bacon, cumberland pork sausage, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, potatoes, tomatoes and brioche. Both presentation and taste were lovely. For me who has a sweet tooth, Brittany fitted really well.

Service was warm and friendly, and the waitress readily gave recommendations too. Ice water was served without us asking. Beside the all day breakfast, they also serve cakes, breads, tarts, sandwiches, salads, cereals and other side dishes.

All things considered, it's a great place to enjoy pretty-looking and yummy-tasting food. But given the price and its location, I'm not sure when I'll be back :p
