Dinner at Guan Hoe Soon

A friend recommended this Peranakan eatery some time back and we decided to give it a try. There's a public car park nearby so parking was not a problem. We were there just before dinner time so it was still quite empty.

Service was prompt and friendly.

We had nyonya mee, nyonya chap chye, ngoh hiang, and bakwan kepiting. Ngoh hiang was yummy, albeit a little too oily. It tasted really similar to the bakwan kepiting, though. Chap Chye and nyonya mee were alright.

As we couldn't bear not to order desserts, despite our full tummies we had one chendol to share. The generous serving of coconut milk and gula melaka made it really tasty.

Guess we'll be back for more!
