Although I didn't recognize the gates and entrance area, most of the rides from last time still remain - Turangga-rangga (carousel), Niagara-gara (flume ride), Bianglala (ferris wheel), Istana Boneka (replica of Disney's It's a Small World) Rango-Rango (tilted house), Rumah Jahil (mirror maze), Ubanga-banga (bumper cars), Baku Toki (another bumper cars), Alap-alap (mini roller coaster - my fave last time), Gajah Bledug, Burung Tempur, Rajawali, Perang Bintang, Kora-Kora, shooting gallery.
Sad to say that the maintenance left a lot to be desired - it was most evident in those old rides, especially Perang Bintang. Perang Bintang wa a ride where visitors shot trolls using laser guns equipped in the cars. Some of the guns didn't work anymore, the score boards were broken, and the trolls and robots were not in good condition.
Istana Boneka was no better. The dolls definitely had seen better days. During first part of the ride, the song was not played, although the dolls were moving. I had doubts taking the rides like mini roller coaster, who knows it just stopped working right there and then.
However, there were new rides as well: Ice Age, Hello Kitty Adventure, and Temple of Fire. Ice Age was a flume ride with Ice Age theme. It's indoor and it could get really cold. The queue to this ride was perpetually long. Temple of Fire was a live show with fire and water effects - probably the most impressive one in the park, worth making time for.
I also noticed that the park now had more trees, and more food choices - Yoshinoya, Baso Afung and many more. The evening parade was quite good, with impressive marching band playing some songs as the opening act.
I saw rubbish here and there, but overall it's not too noticeable. It'd be good if improvements can be done to the toilets too. Given the pricey ticket (Rp.270k for adults and children above 1m on weekends), I think it's more worth it to buy during promotion, or buy the annual pass.

Wuaaaaahhhh, udah lama juga nih aku gak ke Dufan, terakhir sama mantan pacar aka. suami waktu blm merit. Udah hampir 15 tahun lalu deh itu kayaknya. Tapi setiap plg ke Jkt ya tetep gak ada keinginan buat mampir Dufan lagi tuh, hahaha..........udah gak sanggup lagi naik wahana2 yang muter2, tinggi2, dan bikin pusing.
hahaha.. iya ini juga baru kali ini aku kepikiran pengen balik ke dufan. ternyata masih lumayan lah.. bedanya sekarang cuma ada tiket terusan.
kapan-kapan boleh tuh nostalgia ke dufan lagi, dulu sama pacar sekarang sama suami :)
