had the chance to go for a high-tea session at the equinox before the city shuts down for chinese new year this evening. located at 70th level of swissotel the stamford, it's too bad the elevators are not built with glass panel overlooking the city district. if it is, it's not for the faint of heart, as the elevators are moving in high speed, shooting from level 1 straight to level 70, along the way the LCD display only showed 'EZ' without indicating the current floor.. :)

they serve international buffet - from sushi to dimsum to prata with curry. singapore laksa and chinese combination platter. pizza and pasta. roasted beef and cheese sausages. sandwiches and salads. and of course, the desserts - different kind of mousse, malay kuehs, cakes, pastries, festive cookies, ice cream and chocolate fondue.

and the view is just superb. suntec and its surrounding hotels. the esplanade. the padang. st.andrew cathedral and supreme court. singapore river and clarke quay. IR construction and the yet-to-be-finished ferris wheel.
