went to 3 places for cache hunting today: marang trail, harbourfront for steam crane railroad and kent ridge park for the ridges cache. like yesterday, we managed to find only one - the one in marang trail, along series of steps connecting telok blangah and mount faber. hint given for this cache is really descriptive: "at the base of a tree, covered by leaves".. along the trail, whenever you look you'll see trees with leaves scattered all over.

despite the fierce mosquitoes and spotty signal, we found the cache. hurray! it contained two sheets of paper as a logbook replacement, a card, a church brochure, a watermelon shaped rubber, a seashell, and a travel bug! it's our first time finding a travel bug, and it's quite cute too.. a smurf lying lazily beside a coconut tree. its purpose is to go to the next island. hmm.. wondering where we should place it next.
