found our second geocache at the japanese cemetery park this afternoon.

what we like about geocaching is, it leads us to secluded places - areas to which we wouldn't venture, if not for the caches. this park is located at hougang, the largest japanese cemetery in south east asia (ref: wikipedia). burials stopped since 1973, and in 1987 the place was gazetted as memorial park.

it is a tranquil, serene park, with well kept flower trellis. we found the cache after a few minutes wandering and poking around. it was well hidden, but was in need of maintenance. its zip lock bag was torn and dirt had found a way in, plus there was a gooey stuff in there. luckily the small pink logbook was kept inside another sealed plastic bag. we wrote on it, packed it in and hid the container back. TNLN.

in total we went to 3 places this afternoon, but managed to find only this one. we did not come well prepared for the terrain difficulty level for the cache in serangoon park connector, and we did not manage to find the one that's supposed to be located near ITE and CTE, although people said it was an easy find. too bad..
