Watched Chicago the musical at Esplanade Theatre this evening. Overall it's good and entertaining. But compared to other musicals, very limited props were involved. The 19 casts and 14 orchestra players were all wearing black throughout the play. The background remained the same as well. It's more on the singing and dancing. Luckily I've watched the movie, otherwise I'm not sure I could follow the storyline just by watching the musical alone.

My all-time favorite is still Phantom of the Opera. Wondering when Love Never Dies will be brought here.
