This afternoon we happened to be at Velocity with rumbling stomach, and stumbled upon Professor Brawn Cafe. Without giving it too much thought we decided to just try it out.

The cafe was nicely designed with a colorfully written blackboard, specially designed menu book and table top. The menu book resembled student notebook with cute contents: main modules - marine studies, livestock studies, sausage degree studies; desserts of distinction - Mrs brawn's irresistible cakes, ice cream research studies; climate studies - heat wave, cold spell.

We ordered sausage platter and grilled chicken with truffle sauce. The sausage platter was so-so, but the grilled chicken was great - tasty sauce poured on top of nicely grilled chicken. We also got 2 free scoops of ice cream, promotion from a credit card. Macadamia galore and rum & raisin were chosen without much hesitation.

What made this cafe unique was its purpose - established to make a difference to those with learning disability. Their profit goes to Pathlight school.
