[Perth Trip] Day 3: Perth - Margaret River

At 10am we left our hotel to start our road trip to Margaret River. We stopped by at Hungry Jack's along the way for brunch. Then to Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden pier in the southern hemisphere, stretching almost 2km. The view there was terrific, clear blue sky and shimmering blue sea.

Next stop: Simmo's ice creamery. We had ice cream waffles and chicken tandoori panini. Given its fame, we expected a seriously yummy treat but it didn't live up to our expectation. To me, Clementi's Daily Scoop serves better ice creams.

Margaret River is famous for its wine. So touring the wineries was in our must-do list. First winery we visited was Wise winery. Due to some unknown reasons the whole winery was deserted, so we just entertained ourselves in the vineyard :)

Our visit to Sugarloaf Rock was a feast to the eye. Managed to capture another sunset view.

Last stop of the day was at Golden Bay Chinese Restaurant. Then we headed to Vintage Accommodation at Margaret River town. We reached the place at 8.30pm, and the reception was already closed at 7pm. Luckily they had prepared everything for us, complete with baby cot inside the room.
