Punggol Promenade

Had a brilliant idea to go to Punggol Promenade in the evening despite the slight haze. The place has changed so much since the last time we saw it.

It's much more crowded now. I believe the fact that it's Sunday evening contributed to a certain extent but it's definitely made the place very lively. I remember a few years ago when the place was not yet beautified, we could park the car anywhere we pleased, even at the roadside. Now parking itself is a headache.

Beside the old jetty and the two big lotus ponds, now the place also has children playground, gallop stable (visitors can go for a pony ride or a stay at chalets) and of course the seaside walkway. Other than families with children, it's also a popular place for joggers and bikers. Brand new buildings were ready but not occupied yet - it'll be a good place for restaurants, I guess.
