Army Museum & Discovery Centre

Visited Singapore Discovery Centre today, and wondering why we'd never been there before. First stop was Army Museum, whose exhibits include an Individual Marksmanship Trainer (where each visitor is allowed to put their hands on real rifle to shoot targets on the screen), and a 360 degree show that involves special effects in Object Theatre.

Outside the museum there are several stationary army vehicles and also a mini standard obstacle course - perfect for children to have a first taste on BMT :)

Discovery Centre housed various interesting exhibits, covering topics on Singapore: video on the city-state transformation, So Singapore 5-min show, crisis simulation theatre, portals computer game, battlefield command, on location reporter, crisis response, etc.

We concluded the visit by watching a show in the theatre.
