Recap on my weekend that's going to end in a mere 2 hours..

Friday - watched Book of Eli at Lido with 2 friends, followed by a bowl of Marvelous Cream ice cream at Ion Orchard. The movie was a disappointment, the gist of it can be put in just a few sentences.

Saturday - had a nice, nice weather, perfect to stay at home. I woke up quite late (had to cherish the chance while I can) and spent the afternoon doing house chores. Attended sunset mass in the evening and went to Causeway Point with the main purpose of buying 72x49cm frame from Puzzle World. We gave up looking for cheaper alternatives as the puzzle is of non-standard dimension. Mission accomplished, finally it is now hanging nicely on the wall.

Sunday - another chance to wake up late :) Had a small gathering with a few friends at Marche, 313 Somerset. Since their management change, the restaurant's ambience got better but their food got more expensive with less variety. We had hot crepes, spanish paela and the all-time-favourite rosti with sour cream and sausage. Bailey mousse and plum crumble for dessert. Rosti's as good as usual, but the paela's not that great.
